A 39-year-old father of four has been arrested by Swedish police in connection to the Stockholm truck attack that killed four and injured many others including children.

Even though police is considering the Uzbekistan national as suspect, but local media claims he has already confessed his involvement in Friday’s incidence.

At around 3 p.m. local time he is alleged to have ploughed the truck to a departmental store on Stockholm street.

A Swedish newspaper Aftonbadet reports the man fled into the subway minutes after the attack.

CCTV images released by police show him in green jacket and dark hoodie equipped with a blue phone.

Police said he was not very sure where to go in the subway as first he moved towards one direction and thereafter to the opposite on the train.

Police added he was acting strangely in a shop in Marsta, which is a suburban place in Stockholm.

Meanwhile, it is also revealed the man’s Facebook page is suspicious as he had ‘liked’ videos published by the Islamic State.

His female friend said to the local newspaper that she was shocked by his arrest as he was a quiet person and works in construction.

She added, “He never talks politics or religion, the only thing he talks about getting more work so he can send money home to his family.”
