UK Plans Banning Petrol, Diesel Cars Sale From 2040 To Improve Air Quality
Britain has come up with a master plan to curb air pollution and to make it better for its people to breathe. From 2040 the country is banning sale of all diesel and petrol cars and vans.
The restriction of such vehicles on the British roads will bring down the level of nitrogen oxide in the atmosphere and this will lead to less risk to major public health.
As of now the levels of nitrogen oxide is rising in the air and it is posing public health risk.
Meanwhile, France too is planning for a similar move to curb air pollution and clean it to protect people from health hazards.
The British government also added the ban from 2040 will also include in the sale of hybrid vehicles.
In one of the recent years a data claims poor air quality has cost UK up to 2.7 billion pounds in lost productivity.
A government spokesman said the biggest environment risk to public health today is poor air quality and the country is determined in taking strong action.
The spokesman added the government is providing new funds to the councils to speed up development of local plans. The final plan will be unveiled on Wednesday by environment secretary Michael Gove and if believed to media reports it will focus on such move which can coordinate with the councils in improving the air quality.http://www.dailynewsz.com/uk-plans-banning-petrol-diesel-cars-sale-from-2040-to-improve-air-quality/http://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/UK-Plans-Banning-Petrol-Diesel-Cars-Sale-From-2040-To-Improve-Air-Quality.jpghttp://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/UK-Plans-Banning-Petrol-Diesel-Cars-Sale-From-2040-To-Improve-Air-Quality-300x300.jpgHealthworld newsbritain, diesel car, petrol car,UK
