Twin Suicide Car Explosions Kill 22 In Iraq Capital Baghdad
At least 22 people have died in Iraq’s capital Baghdad after two separate suicide car bomb blasted Thursday morning.
Fifteen people were killed and 35 others were injured by the first explosion that blasted on a commercial street in eastern Baghdad. The second blast targeted a bus stop north of the capital killing at least twelve people and injuring 28 others.
The ISIS militant group has claimed credit for both the explosions and also almost all the recent suicide attacks in the Iraqi capital.
Lately the government forces have been fighting against the ISIS fighters to retake the Fallujah city that is under the control of the Muslim group since January 2014.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights Watch has also called upon the government to carry on investigation of allege abuse that is carried out by the forces against civilians in the city.
International rights group said people in Fallujah hospital claim to have been assaulted physically by the Popular Mobilization Forces of the Iraq government.
