Senior British officials said she will confirm further being on a one-way track out of the EU even though some leaders of the 28 nations bloc suggest Brexit may not take place.

The two-day summit will see the clearest signal of May favoring Brexit.

Last week the EU President Donald Tusk said the EU would not offer Britain any alternative deal to Brexit and so May could decide ultimately to stay in the bloc as the withdrawal may mean loss of tariff-free trading rights.

Tusk added no deal will be talked unless Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty for Brexit is involved by May to put Britain on an irreversible path out of the EU.

Earlier May revealed to be triggering the Article 50 before the end of March in 2017.

However, the biggest challenge of May now is the smooth and orderly leaving of Britain from EU. This will result will good relationship between UK and the bloc.

Officials say she does not want to damage relationship of the remaining 27 members of EU.
