Huggies Announcs Nano Diapers For Low Birthweight Babies
Huggies has walked one step further in taking care of babies. It has announced a tiny diaper for the premature babies.
Parents usually find harder to make fit awkwardly large diaper to a fragile newborn. Considering the situation Huggies announced “nano preemies” for babies who weigh less than 2 pounds.
In 2016 Pampers too a similar step by launching a diaper three sizes smaller than the standard newborn diapers for the newborn weighing as little as 1 pound.
The normal weight of new born babies is about 5.5 pounds to 8.8 pounds and the current disgns of diapers fit them without snug to protect from leakage.
US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data reveals about 1.4 percent of babies in the United States are born with a very low weight, even less than 3.3 pounds.
Diapers for babies less than 3.3 pounds are too large.
Medical director for the UCLA Medical Center, Dr Valencia Walker, said big issue with the diapers is size and protecting the skin.
He added further, “The skin of a preterm infant is a little bit more fragile than a full-term infant. So you really want to try and keep that skin dry.”http://www.dailynewsz.com/huggies-announcs-nano-diapers-for-low-birthweight-babies/http://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Huggies-Announcs-Nano-Diapers-For-Low-Birthweight-Babies.jpghttp://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Huggies-Announcs-Nano-Diapers-For-Low-Birthweight-Babies-300x300.jpgHealthdiapers,huggies,pampers
