Fox River Mall Evacuated Over Shooting Threat
Tuesday afternoon, just little later than 6 p.m. local time, the Fox River Mall was evacuated following a threat from a person to shoot.
Shortly after 7 p.m. local time Sgt. Angela Owens of the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department said there is no longer a threat in the Fox River Mall area and the evacuation move was taken for a safety precaution.
She also added no shots were fired in and around the mall and the person who threatened to shoot was not located too.
Investigators said the WLUK family members called the police doubting a man is at the Fox River Mall equipped with a gun.
Police looked for the man who was doubted by family members to be suicidal.
Authorities said no good description of the vehicle was given to them on which the man may have driven in. It was said the vehicle was white in color.
Heavy police presence was seen outside the mall and no injuries were reported amid evacuation or search operation.
Several other malls too were evacuated from Colorado to Tennessee and Texas to New Jersey due to massive brawls and food-court fights after Christmas day on Monday.http://www.dailynewsz.com/fox-river-mall-evacuated-over-shooting-threat/http://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Fox-River-Mall-Evacuated-Over-Shooting-Threat.jpghttp://www.dailynewsz.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Fox-River-Mall-Evacuated-Over-Shooting-Threat-300x300.jpgshoppingChristmas,fox river mall
